DLC Issues the Latest Draft Technical Requirements Table V4.0
On the early morning of Feb 20, 2016, DLC formally released the latest Draft Technical Requirements Table V4.0. The interval between the publication of V4.0 and the last publication of V3.1 is less than 3 months while the implementation of V3.0 is less than 1 year.

Changes and Future Trend of the Latest DLC Technical Requirements Table V4.0
Based on the current frame of DLC V3.0/V3.1, DLC V4.0 only adds the requirement for luminous efficiency. With the progressive technical improvement in the market, DLC raises the requirement for luminous efficiency of accredited products. In accordance with this new standard, it is estimated that 40%-60% of the products listed in the QPL at the moment will be eliminated.

Development Trend of DLC's New Products/New Standards
Since the second quarter of 2016, including at the DLC Annual Meeting to be held in August, 2016, DLC will take new products into consideration. For example, new products such as pin-base CFL LED, replacement LED light source of E26 lamp holder, lighting products used in hazardous areas, advertisement lighting, lighting products used in highlight areas, lighting products used in farms and lamps of new size and new specifications will be entered into the discussion.
