EU LVD Directive Updated to 2014/35/EU

The LVD applies to the electric devices with the rated voltage of 50 -1000 V (AC) and 75 -1500 V (DC).

On Mar 29, 2014, EU promulgated the new version of LVD 2014/35/EU to replace the original LVD 2006/95/EC.

The new Directive shall come into effect on Apr 20, 2016 and all member countries shall finish the legislative process before Apr 19, 2016.

The Verification of Conformity concerning the old LVD 2006/95/EC shall be rejected after Apr 20, 2016.
